SHE

 

She’s older,

I’m younger.

She’s stormy,

I’m calm.

She’s sincere,

I’m a bit relaxed.

She’s responsible,

I’m certainly not.

 

It’s funny how different we could be,

Yet so close.

She’s the thread,

If I’m the kite.

Keeps me grounded,

Most of the times.

 

She kept me from being a spoilt brat.

I owe it all to her for that.

This poem’s gonna be really long,

If I kept going on.

This page will overflow with love,

I’m sure.

 

But, in the end,

She’s incredible.

Truly, one in a million.
