THE STORY Pt.5

 The wise candyman,

Sang his sweet song.

The children ran to him,

So as to ring his pretty bell.

 

He looked and offered,

If he could make my day.

I smiled modestly and asked,

If I could get that

Pink fluffy candy,

He handed to kids along the way.

I took the ball of fluff and realized,

He had given me

Some of his sweet cottony courage.

 

My little daisy,

If I let you go.

Call me stupidly crazy,

I don’t know.

But really though if in the wind,

I let you blow.

Could you please,

Just let him know.
